Gap year students can of course play in Colts teams while away, using rugby clubs as stepping stones on a longer trip. As for visas, it is best to get as long a visa as possible because no more than 6 months in a year should be worked under some visa restrictions.

The club is close to the city near to Bondi & Randwick but in the Coogee area. They play at Coogee Oval in Brook Street and train at nearby Latham Park Tuesday and Thursday nights from 4.30pm through until 8.30 pm. There is fitness as well as practise elements. (Fitness First Pty seems to be similar to our LA Fitness Ltd).

Our own Sam Naylor spent 2007 playing with Eastwood’s Senior Colts and two of his playing colleagues in that team, have progressed to the first grade side this season. Bryan Johnson spent a season with Eastwood and also Manly during the 1990’s.
