In a closely fought encounter Caldy were always a threat, but the experience of the Northwich pack helped the 'Stags' to their second win out of three games this season.

Conversions: None

Return to fixtures

October 19th U15’s vs Crewe & Nantwich (Home) Won 22-5
Crewe gave Northwich a good run with some fine tackling, however the stags came through as the stronger of the teams with some superb support play and attacking moves.

Star Man: Josh Hall

Conversions: Chris Sheppard (1)

Return to fixtures

November 9th U15’s vs Macclesfield (Home) Won 34-5
With many players missing from both sides due to Remembrance Sunday parades resulting in Macclesfield being short of a few players meant that all of the Northwich players got a full 60 minutes of rugby. The wearing of a blue shirt certainly inspired many of the stags to lift their game against their fellow stags.
Tries: Jack Vandersteen (3), Sam Jones, Sam Clayton and Chris Sheppard

Conversions: Chris Sheppard (2)
Star Man: Sam Clayton

Return to fixtures

November 30th U15’s vs Wilmslow (Home) Won 31-15
Both teams came to Moss Farm after Cheshire Cup defeats on the previous Sunday. On paper Wilmslow were the stronger team, with Northwich failing to win in their previous six fixtures against the Wolves. It was an exceeding strong half that won the game for the Stags with all the points coming from a new back line up.

Tries: Luke Murray(2), Matt Beesley(2) and Mike Collier
Conversions: Matt Beesley(3)
Star Man: Matt Beesley

Return to fixtures

December 21st U15’s vs Congleton (Home) Won 29-0
A sparkling performance from the Northwich backs led by the impressive Chris Sheppard was too much for the Congleton 'Bears'.

Tries: Jordan Byrne, Matt Beesley(3) and Josh Hall
Conversions: Chris Sheppard(2)
Star Man: Chris Sheppard

February 1st U15’s vs Oldershaw (Home) Won 35-7 Cheshire Plate 2nd Round
Northwich now await their Semi-Final opponents in this week's draw.

On a cold and windy day on the tip of the Wirral, the pumped up Northwichians destroyed a big Oldershaw team. Chris Sheppard was clearly man of the match not just for his excellent tackling and running but also for kicking 5 out of 5 from difficult positions. Sam Jones was industrious and commanded the pace of the game, with Matt Beesley terrorising the crowd with his exhilarating runs. Could this be the day that a stunning new Lock was born when Josh Hall added his strength and tackling to the forwards in the second half … I think so. Well done Josh and all the all the lads for reaching a top semi-final for the second year running.

Tries: Jordan Byrne, Luke Murray, Jack Vandersteen, Ryan Kitt and Sam Jones
Conversions: Chris Sheppard (5)
Star Man: Chris Sheppard

Return to fixtures

March 8th U15’s vs Burnage (Home) Won 41-0
The team needed a confidence boast after their neighbours beat them convincingly at the Park the previous Sunday. Burnage became the victims of a strong display from Northwich. Not the best performance this year but certainly one that proved a massive class difference over their South Manchester rivals. Collier, was the man of the match, and after missing a quarter of the season due to injury is making a late burst for player of the season.

Vandersteen, Jones (players not the ageing coaches) and Sheppard all had excellent games, but the ‘Mouth’ Collier stole the day with some excellent wing play. Target and Halsall also made brilliant contributions.

Tries: Mike Collier (3), Steven Parry (2), Ryan Kitt and Jack Vandersteen
Conversions: Chris Sheppard (3)

Star Man: Mike Collier

Return to fixtures

March 22nd U15’s vs Wilmslow (Away) Won 24-10

Conversions: Chris Sheppard (2)
