U7’s Match Reports 2004-5
3rd October U7 vs Ormskirk Lost 9-7
All tries scored by player of the game Matthew Thomas. Excellent debuts against older and much bigger opposition from Jack Rascagneres, Samuel Preece, Libby Finn, Iwan Davies and Sean Basnett . James Hughes also played well. If the under 7's continue to play as well they will be a force to be reckoned with in the future!

30th October U7 vs Chester (Home) Lost 6-4
Under 7's lost 6-4 to a much bigger and older Chester team. Good team performances from captain for the day, Emily and team members Matt, Kyle, Ieaun, Jessica, Zoë, Sam and James.

28th November U7 vs Wilmslow & Trafford MV (Wilmslow) Lost 6-5 & 6-4
Wilmslow
In a very even and entertaining game Northwich finally lost to a late try scored in injury time. Northwich try scorers were Matthew Thomas and Alex Ellison.
Trafford
On a very muddy pitch Northwich lost 6 - 4 to Trafford MV whose team contained many more experienced players. Northwich never looked outclassed and played well throughout but could not contain the fast running of two of the Trafford team. Try scorers for Northwich were Matthew Thomas, Alex Ellison.
Matthew again showed great potential. Also of note was Jessica Sutton, who has shown great recent improvement.
