Another successful World Cup for Vale Royal schools!
Vale Royal schools celebrated another rugby world cup year with their own world cup tournaments. Separate events were held in late September and early October in the same format at the World cup itself, with teams taking on the identity of each of the countries. Thanks to the sponsorship of Playmore Sports, the Year 5/6 event also were provided with T-shirts with the country name to play and then take home. All the scores and photographs of the winners are provided below.                                     October 2007

With a little more time to organise themselves after the start of the Autumn term, 15 schools took part in the Year 5-6 event. After a gruelling day, Comberbach and St. Wilfrid’s were again in contention for the title. St Wilfrid’s yet again just had the staying power to hold on for the title.
