Northwich Rugby Club relies mainly upon member registration fees and fund raising events like the ‘Northwich Festival’ to finance its running costs. Consequently any alternative external funding in the form of sponsorship or donations is very welcome to help the club meets its goals for the future.
In the past Northwich Rugby Club have enjoyed direct support for its match program and indirect sponsorship via the Northwich Festival. This season we are pleased to announce that Cosgrove Civil Engineering of Northwich will again be making a significant contribution to helping with the costs of providing new strips for a selection of the senior Northwich sides.

The club is always keen to hear from anyone who would like to get involved in supporting the club through sponsorship or donations whether large or small. Now including this web site, there are many different options when it comes to sponsoring the club, from match ball sponsorship, placing advertisements in the club programme or web site, right through to shirt sponsorship, player sponsorship, donating raffle prizes and everything in between. Excellent community access
During the season Northwich Rugby Club regularly field nearly 300 players from the age of 5 to over 50. Over half of these are Junior members whose parents also actively participate in club matches and social events. Increasing direct regular connection of up to at least 1000 people.
Inclusive - Wide ranging appeal
Members live across Cheshire and have occupations varying from doctors to plumbers and from service engineers to IT specialists. The recent addition of girls and women’s rugby at Northwich has also increased the appeal of Northwich.
Popular web site
Combined with this vast network of contacts Northwich Rugby Club now boast a web site which routinely now has between 2500 & 3000 pages visited per week. Last season the club also enjoyed weekly press regular coverage in local papers, articles in the national rugby press (Rugby World and Touchline) and TV coverage while at Twickenham.
Regional connections
The web site, routine fixtures across the region and recent cup success of the 1st XV, also attracts interest from outside the local area into Merseyside, Greater Manchester, North Wales and Lancashire.
