Xmas 2002 Update
Northwich Senior Colts are upbeat despite not yet recording a win in our four league outings so far. Things really kick in after Xmas when, with the end of absences for Cheshire and North of England, the league resumes. Chris Dale, Andy Joseph, Kevin Stansfield, Elliot Fallon and Tom Rafferty all played for Cheshire and Chris Dale captained the North of England team at Sandal on Sunday 8th December. Gavin Venter, Gaz Davies and Adam Bown have all played for the 1st XV during the past month and Venter in particular looks like a permanent fixture.
The team competes well but it is stuffed with mostly 17yr olds and a few 18 yr olds. Our competitors comprise of mainly 18 and 19yr olds and therefore just have the physical edge. The Colts are to fundraise in the New Year, one to payoff their subs and two to finance an end of season tour to the Isle of Man.
